Blepharoplasty comes from the Greek words “blepharon” (for “eyelid”) and “plastos” (for “to mold”). So, a blepharoplasty literally refers to the surgical repair (“molding”) of the eyelid. Dr. Krueger may treat the upper or lower eyelids depending on your needs and goals.

This minimally-invasive alternative to aggressive cutting techniques uses low temperatures to precisely reshape tissues with limited bleeding. When closing the treatment site, Dr. Krueger makes a single, running subcuticular suture instead of a “baseball stitch.” The former approach that other cosmetic surgeons take leaves behind dotted irregularities or scars. Our approach minimizes the risks of scarring and other visible effects from surgery. This technique also results in stress-free follow-up because Dr. Krueger removes just one suture.
