At Krueger Aesthetics, our double Board-Certified surgeon and team in Mukilteo, Washington, do things differently and with your utmost safety, satisfaction, natural results, and comfort at heart. Our approach to the highly popular blepharoplasty procedure minimizes the risks of undesirable side effects and complications after surgery. Patients from across the Snohomish County region benefit from Dr. Ronald Krueger’s considerable experience and his unique treatment approaches. These techniques furthermore support a healthy, fast recovery and predictable healing.
Blepharoplasty comes from the Greek words “blepharon” (for “eyelid”) and “plastos” (for “to mold”). So, a blepharoplasty literally refers to the surgical repair (“molding”) of the eyelid. Dr. Krueger may treat the upper or lower eyelids depending on your needs and goals.Â
Surgery may be necessary to address the effects of aging, including:
Blepharoplasty at our office is tolerated well and supports a problem-free and comfortable recovery. For starters, Dr. Krueger does not use general anesthesia. Instead, he uses a tablet which melts in the mouth to also melt away discomfort and fears. Patients remain relaxed through treatment. Furthermore, we avoid the risks, costs and recovery associated with general anesthetic .
Additionally, our upper-lid blepharoplasty is characterized as a “no-scalpel” procedure. That’s right – no traditional cutting instruments. Instead, we use an energy-based Radiofrequency (RF) device to separate the skin. This minimally-invasive alternative to aggressive cutting techniques uses low temperatures to precisely reshape tissues with limited bleeding. When closing the treatment site, Dr. Krueger makes a single, running subcuticular suture instead of a “baseball stitch.” The former approach that other cosmetic surgeons take leaves behind dotted irregularities or scars. Our approach minimizes the risks of scarring and other visible effects from surgery. This technique also results in stress-free follow-up because Dr. Krueger removes just one suture. The results can’t be beaten; all that patients see looking back at them in the mirror are their reawakened, youthful- and vibrant-looking eyes – and not scars or reminders of the operation.
Dr. Krueger will go over everything to expect before, during, and after your procedure. He will also partner with you to sustain the often dramatic results from treatment. Of course, we can’t stop the clock. But we can “reset” it and instill good sun protection habits and a healthy skin care regimen.
Dr. Krueger and his nurse, Phyllis, developed a line of medical-grade skin care products with active ingredients. Few surgeons take such an interest in skin care, but Dr. Krueger finds he can get much better results from both surgical and nonsurgical treatments with quality products and formulations.Â
Krueger Aesthetics has been performing highly safe and predictable blepharoplasty procedures fo 30 years.Â
