Thread lifting at Krueger Aesthetics - Dr. Ronald Krueger

What is thread lifting?
I am Dr. Ronald Krueger of Krueger Aesthetics, and I want to talk to you today about thread lifting. There are several types of thread lifts on the market. The one that we’ve chosen is the silhouette instant lift.
It’s a unique product designed to create tension through the facial skin and the neck. It is unique because it is bidirectional.
This means it creates a pulling force, anchors, and pulls the tissue up, which is beneficial. It relies on these little tiny threads. There’s a picture of the little cones that hold and support the tissue.
How does thread lifting work, and who is an ideal candidate?
It’s a twofold benefit for our patients. First, we create the tensioning or lifting with it. Not quite as much as we get with a facelift but a very noticeable amount.
As the sutures reabsorb over time, they deposit a material similar to Sculptra, which helps thicken the skin and dermis, making for healthier, younger-looking skin.
The procedure takes less than an hour. It requires local anesthetic, typically without sedation. People leave without a bandage and can return to work the next day.
So far, our patients are universally happy with it. Anyone who doesn’t want a full facelift but needs a little pick me up in the neck area, jowls, and mid-face are all candidates.
Feel free to give us a call and make an appointment today.
