Krueger Aesthetics personalizes all treatments to the unique needs of our patients. And few aesthetic treatment options are quite as highly customizable as lasers. When searching for a “laser treatment near me in Mukilteo, Washington,” there is certain to be a device or technology to improve the appearance of your specific skin concerns at our office.
Here, we shine the light on four of those technologies:
This improved version of earlier-generation carbon dioxide laser systems treats a smaller fraction of tissue within the targeted area. This allows us to really dial in on specific skin concerns, such as areas of excess melanin pigment (like solar lentigines or brown spots caused by sun damage). With CO2 laser, fractional skin resurfacing improves signs of sun damage, aging, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles with considerable intensity. You can enjoy an increase in collagen and elastin with dramatic improvements without the risk and recovery associated with older CO2 systems. Fractional CO2 blends powerful energy with precise, targeted, and customizable treatment capabilities. Downtime for maximum powered CO2 is about 7 days, and we offer a Mini CO2 option with a shorter downtime of 3-4 days.
As another fractionated or fractional laser treatment, Clear + Brilliant® produces tiny columns of heat in the skin. This controlled heating process stimulates the production of fresh collagen to soften pores, fade hyperpigmentation, and improve the skin’s overall texture, tone, and quality. This treatment is considered to be so gentle that no downtime is required. You can return to your routine and busy schedule with little more than temporary redness and swelling. The best results are usually visible after a series of 3 – 6 treatments spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart.
KTP stands for “potassium titanyl phosphate.” While this may sound complicated, KTP simply refers to the medium used to produce a wavelength that targets blood vessels, broken capillaries, and discoloration. As the laser zeros in on veins, red areas, and brown spots, it leaves the surrounding tissues untouched. When in our skilled hands, KTP is a safe and predictable procedure. Results only get better with time.
This laser-assisted microdermabrasion or exfoliation service removes the outermost layer of the skin in a minimally invasive and gentle manner. Think of it as the laser alternative to a chemical peel or other forms of mechanical resurfacing. By lifting damaged skin cells, we reveal and promote a smoother, softer, more even skin and an overall renewed appearance. So, this deep exfoliation service is appropriate for everything from fine lines to acne scars.
Our Aesthetic Medicine Physician, Dr. Claire Murphy, may also recommend alternatives to lasers for skin resurfacing and/or complementary products and treatments as appropriate to address your skin concerns. The process starts by scheduling a consultation at Krueger Aesthetics in Mukilteo, WA. Contact us at (425) 876-9999 to request your visit.
